George Rakes ? Area Manger Started with Certified Transmission in August 1983. Positions held include re-builder and manager of three locations Bellevue, Ne, Grandview, Mo. and Independence, Mo. Promoted to Area Manager in 1992 and has held that position ever since. Since 1992 the Kansas City area has grown from three locations to seven. Also included are two outside sales divisions for Missouri and Kansas along with a warehouse in the Kansas City that holds over 300 transmissiosn. George has also been an ASE & ATRA Certified Technician. He was also a Ford Factory Trained Technician and work in several different areas while with Ford. George is also a Automotive Management Institute graduate through Automotive Service Association, with over 300 credit hours of AMI training for sales/management & technical training. George has been married to his wife Lisa for 18 years?they have four children, three daughters and one son. Also included are seven grandchildren. Hobbies include: Restoring his 1964 Ford Galaxie Bass fishing and traveling with his wife to different parts of the country in their Galaxie.
