For the last three years I have been driving a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The transmission has always operated poorly and would not shift past third gear. This, as you can imagine, has made my daily drives very difficult. I had taken my jeep to two mechanics, and another transmission shop and was informed each time that I need to purchase an entire new transmission. I am not exactly rolling in money so it was pretty daunting. The quotes were all sitting around 2,500 bucks. Finally, I took my Jeep into Certified Transmission on Frontage Road after hearing a radio commercial that they would take her out for a drive and give the system a look over and they would do it for free. After looking it over, they told me that they needed two more hours, that I would have to pay for and they would get to the bottom of the problem. I said alright. Then the next day they called and said that not only had they identified the problem, they had been able to fix it, and it would not cost me a dime over the agreed upon two hour charge. Certified Transmission saved my butt. For $195 these transmission specialists solved one of my biggest problems. Jeep runs like a dream. I have been in an immensely better mood ever since.
